
Hello, this is GameCoaster. It has already been four weeks since Dungeon Within transitioned to Open Beta. Thanks to the invaluable feedback shared by so many of you, we have been able to find a better direction to improve the game.
Currently, our development team is focusing all our efforts on implementing the top-priority tasks outlined in our previous roadmap. Here is a preview of what we are working on.
First, to diversify play concepts (builds), we are preparing a system where you can sacrifice leftover Monsters to obtain Dark Lord traits. This will allow players to gather specific categories of traits to create unique synergies. Additionally, we are developing features that allow you to synthesize monsters to obtain the next tier, or combine identical monsters to boost their Stats.
For Facilities, we are introducing a 'Facility Combination' system. Under certain type and tier restrictions, you will be able to attach a specific facility as a sub-component to another, allowing one facility to exhibit the effects of both. Similar to monsters, combining identical facilities will enhance them into ones with higher stats.
Other improvements include Quality of Life updates, such as the ability to extract items anywhere without visiting an Extraction Chamber node once it is built in the Architect's Workshop, and the ability to overwrite and replace currently equipped Parts. There are still many more improvements in the pipeline, which will be applied sequentially alongside bug fixes after this update.
Finally, we are in the final stages of developing Tier 8 monsters. We are doing our absolute best to include them in this update, but if that proves difficult, we plan to add them within a week after the 0.3.0 update.
Although the game still has room for improvement, the passion and interest you all send us make development a joyful experience for our entire team, despite the busy schedule.
